Q: Where do I check in using SafeEntry?
If you are coming for a show, follow the ushers' instructions, and check in using TraceTogegther. As more time will be required for patrons to complete these steps, arrive early to avoid delays. If you are coming to Gateway Theatre for anything else, report to the Fire Command Center beside the passenger lifts to have your temperature taken and check in. More details are available here.
Q: Is TraceTogether required?
Yes, according to the Ministry of Health's Arts and Culture advisory, SafeEntry check-in at theatres must be done via TraceTogether.
Q: Will I need to take the Antigen Rapid Test (ART) to enter the event?
Under the current MOH guidelines, PET will be necessary for all live performances if you are not fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19.

Q: I am attending a show with my friends, will we be able to sit together?
If you would like to sit with your friends, tickets for each group (maximum 2 people) should be booked in a single transaction when purchasing tickets. Each group will be socially-distanced from others. For specific seating arrangements, check with your event's organiser.
Q: Do I have to keep my face mask on during the show?
Yes, face masks should be kept on at all times.
Q: How can I find out what shows are playing?

Q: How and where do I purchase tickets? What are the Box Office hours?
To purchase tickets, click the ‘Buy Tickets’ link found under the show’s listing.
Q: Where do I collect my tickets?
If you are collecting your tickets at Gateway Theatre, head to our Box Office located on the left-side of the building. Alternatively, some events may have ticket collection counters at the entrance of the venue. Check with your event's organiser on the ticket collection procedure for that event.
Q: Does my infant or child need a ticket?
We love to have families enjoy a show together, but we do have a minimum age requirement of 6 years and above at our performance venue. Also, you do need to purchase a ticket for your child. Do check with the show’s organiser if you need further clarification.
Q: I lost my ticket. What do I do?
Please contact the ticketing agency directly and have your payment details and personal information ready.
Q: Where do I enter Gateway Theatre?
If you are coming for an event, follow the event organiser's instructions. For events at the Theatre, audience members are usually ushered in from the front of the building. More information, including a 360 tour and Visual Story (which provides full directions) are available here. For events at the Black Box, the reception and registration area is usually at the Gallery on level 7. You can get there via the passenger lifts. Full directions are available here.
Q: What if I’m running late? Then what?
Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break (if any) during the performance that is determined by the show’s organiser.
