FLUID ENTITIES: An Evening of Contemporary Dance marks the first time that The Presence Project is holding its concert at the Gateway Theatre Black Box. The Presence Project is founded by dance choreographer and educator Peter Gn and it comprises handpicked talented and versatile contemporary dancers guided by experienced expertise to become the best they can be through honing advanced dance skills. The Presence Project holds the belief that dance must take place in a positive, mindful and energetic environment with equal parts of personal movement, emotion, group dynamics and music. It constantly evolves to reflect changes in Singapore’s dance scene, and strives for inventiveness, movement versatility and technical proficiency. By performing deeply personal yet experimental choreography, the dancers under The Presence Project are encouraged to push their conceptual boundaries and explore the intersections between different artistic disciplines.
In this inaugural concert at the Gateway Theatre, The Presence Project dancers deliver new works and are joined by those from the dance industry as well as LASALLE College of the Arts, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, National Contemporary Ballet and City Ballet Academy.
The Aristocrats Live in Singapore
As part of the Singapore Rock Fest series, The Aristocrats will make their way to Gateway Theatre, Singapore, on February 13, 2023. Audiences starved for some trademark Aristocratic musical mayhem will be treated to a debut of select new material not yet released on any album, as well as a carefully curated collection of fan favorites and deep cuts. Anyone who’s witnessed their live musical high-wire act - employing random amounts of rock, jazz, pop, metal, and even traditional country – can attest that it is informed by the spirit of a true band, one whose improvisational soul allows for anything to happen onstage at any moment…including the occasional wink and nod at the audience.

A Tribute to Antonio Vargas
Antonio Vargas is best known as a renowned flamenco artist.
But he is much, much more than just that.
He is a mentor, choreographer, performer, musician, dancer, designer, builder.
These are just some of the many talents and experiences that Antonio Vargas has shared with many of us when he called Singapore his home 14 years ago. A creative inspiration to many.
A Tribute to Maestro Antonio Vargas is a gathering of artistes from different genres of the arts that have collaborated in one way or another with him; sharing how they have been influenced or inspired by Antonio in his or her respective expertise.
It will be an evening of music, dance, singing, acting from many talented artistes. With this, we hope to celebrate Antonio’s life and to pay tribute to this amazing man who has performed in virtually every continent of the world, and yet has touched the lives of so many here in Singapore.
