Weaving compromise and compassion into a story about love, camaraderie, and kinship, relationships are brought forth, and its value gets rethought.

No instruments. No backing tracks. Just the human voice. SMU VOIX’s a cappella renditions of your favourite songs are masterfully intertwined with a wave of thought-provoking emotions alongside comedic elements for a performance that will keep you at the edge of your seat.

In Transit

Everyone has their own story to tell. No matter how insignificant they seem, we all have moments that define who we are, and decisions that led us to be where we are today. Among those are common threads that wind through all of our stories. In Transit is a story of four strangers, their memories, their lives, and what they share in common.

Inspired by a chance encounter on public transport, In Transit is filled with moments that all of us can relate to. Moments filled with joy, pain, celebration, anguish and acceptance. In Transit tells a story about all of us and our shared experience in this world. So come laugh with us, cry a little (or a lot) and experience life through the eyes of these strangers. After selling out their first-ever headlining summer tour, the band put out their “Invitation” EP which proved an even greater success, topping iTunes’ Overall Albums chart in six countries including the United States. The band’s single “These Girls” made a Top 10 debut on the iTunes Store’s “Top Pop Songs” chart late last summer, only to be surpassed by their latest single “Trust Fund Baby”. The band also garnered early press attention from Entertainment Weekly, Us Weekly, and Billboard who named the band in their annual “21 Under 21” ranking.
